Top Com d’Argent 2011 Prize to Nomen for the identity change of MERSEN
Nomen Groupe was awarded Top Com d’Argent 2011 prize for identity change of MERSEN ( known as Carbone Lorraine until 2010). We are proud to have participated in this project for name creation, linguistic validation, and internal and external launch of the new identity.
Like Velib’ and Wanadoo, MERSEN is from now on part of award-winning brands of Nomen. This recognition encourages us to create more successful names. In the last year since this indentity change, the value of MERSEN has increased by almost 50%! We thank MERSEN for trusting us and wish a lot of success to this new name!

VELIB, the shared bicyle service put in place by the Paris City Hall authorities already won the 2007 prize for Design by the magazine STRATEGIES. It is now the winner of the 2008 Topcom prize competition.

Nomen wins the 2007 Grand Prix of Design by the Newspaper Strategies for the brand Velib
VELIB, a service put in place by the Paris City Hall authorities to have bicyles available easily for the parisians, is a brand created by Nomen on the words « vélo » and « liberty » and refering to mobility and independance.
