MERSEN, the new name creation by Nomen
The industrial group and leading material expert Carbone Lorraine will change its name to MERSEN*.
The Nomen Group accompanies MERSEN all along the process of naming to the international launch campaign. The visual identity and its declinations were realized by the design agency ID&CO.
MERSEN is our 220th corporate name creation, including 18 public societies such as VIVENDI, VINCI, THALES, SAFRAN and ARKEMA.
* Name has to be accepted by the stakeholders on May 20th.

A Nomen's creation for a new “School of Knowledge Economy and Management”, the former ESC-CERAM French business schools. SKEMA, from the ancient greek « skhêma » (the structure), is a strong and confident name, with universal and positive values.

Nomen creates BLEU CIEL for EDF
This name refers to the color « sky blue » and, consequently, to celestial heave, metaphore of perennity. The sky suggests trust, a clear horizon and hence faith in the future. The color blue reminds the filiation with the mother company EDF. This open sounding name evokes well-being and serenity. A peaceful moment at home.
